Have Faith in Dettori to Cash in; TODAY'S RACING

SIGNS of life are starting to emerge from Godolphin's massive Newmarket operation and Faith And Reason can keep a smile on Frankie Dettori's face by winning at Windsor in the 6.55 this evening.

A one-two in the Summer Mile at Lingfield on Saturday left the team hoping that this season's stuttering start was now over.

And it is probably to the credit of FAITH AND REASON that he ran well on both of his starts this season at a time when many of the stable's runners appeared to be sick horses.

His second to Stotsfold at Lingfield looked a decent effort at the time and appears even better now after his conqueror went in again at Chester on Friday night.

Putting on a visor for the first time is, to my mind, never a positive sign but the way Faith And Reason was worried out of victory after looking to have the race in the bag last time out suggests that he is the sort of horse who will improve for its application.
