AUGUST Bank Holiday signals the biggest clubbing weekend of the year: a combination of bidding goodbye to summer, carefree Carnival vibes and the last Bank Holiday before Christmas makes for a hedonistic brew.

Everyone's out in force, and most of them aren't going home until the weekend's over, which is why the after party is such a great invention - and why the ones on offer get better every year.

This weekend, two of Carnival's most notorious soundsystems of recent years are hosting after parties: Sancho Panza take over Shepherd's Bush Empire, with their good friends Layo & Bushwacka!

Norman Jay's Good Times bus is the most famous spot at Carnival, and its great vibe will be reflected at his post-Good Times carryon at Neighbourhood.
