NO WONDER Work and Pensions Secretary John Hutton has suicidally leapt to the defence of the Prime Minister, unlike other cabinet ministers such as John Prescott who haven't uttered a word of support. I gather Hutton does not mind who's in Number 10 because he intends to turn his back on Westminster at the next general election.

The Cabinet Minister has been telling friends he's had enough of the rough and tumble of politics, and wants to go and make some proper money in the real world.

Hutton's life is more colourful than appearances might suggest. It is said he's had Botox treatment to smooth his furrowed brow. He and his second wife, Heather - they married in 2004 - live next door to the family of hook-handed radical Muslim cleric Abu Hamza in Shepherd's Bush. A former adviser to Culture Secretary Tessa Jowell, Heather is a political lobbyist who earns [pounds sterling]100,000 a year working for Citigate Public Affairs, which advises American casino firms about investing in Britain. …
