Ever been in one of those situations where you inquire about something without really expecting an answer?

You know, you may innocently ask a relative stranger how their health is, and instead of getting the expected OK, they actually start telling you about their corns and their Chalfonts.

Well, when I asked about your views on the comings and goings in the transfer market at Newcastle United, I didn't really expect you to take me up on it.

Only, kiddin', it's always lovely to hear from you lot.
