Roy keane believes Sunderland's patient approach paid off against Leicester, (writes JAMES HUNTER).

The Black Cats had to wait until the 79th minute to make their dominance count and break the deadlock at the Walkers Stadium.

But Tobias Hysen set the Wearsiders on their way before former Foxes striker David Connolly scored his fourth goal in six games to seal a 2-0 win for Sunderland.

Cats boss Keane said: "I wasn't too concerned that the goal took a while to come. You have to be patient ( although you do start to get a bit worried when their keeper is pulling off some great saves ( but I thought we deserved to win it by more goals.

"There was a worry that when we missed chances we might live to regret it, but we got there in the end.

"All in all, 2-0 is a satisfying victory. Frustration would have been an understatement had we come off nil-nil.

"We kept going and credit to the players because they didn't become impatient ( we kept passing it and moving it and in the end it could have been a few more. …
