A former solicitor has returned to the region and is finding there are enough busy executives here to sustain her new life management company.

Emma Ridley, 35, from Jesmond in Newcastle moved away to university in Sheffield, and then went to Manchester to complete her legal training.

Emma eventually moved to London as a commercial property solicitor.

"I changed tack whilst in London and went into recruitment for the legal profession," she said.

"From there I became a recruitment manager for an American law firm interviewing up to partner level and organising recruitment events."

Emma had seen other concierge type businesses in London helping busy executives organise parts of their lives that they didn't have time to organise themselves.

"I did research and found there was a definite requirement in the North-East for a professional life management organisation and being from the North-East I knew I had a head start with contacts. …
