Uk Trade & Investment is the government organisation that provides integrated support services for UK companies engaged in overseas trade and foreign enterprises seeking to locate in the UK.

* Business Opportunities ( Staff in our overseas posts maintain regular contact with business interests in their respective markets to identify Business Opportunities and match them with UK firms.

* Export Marketing Research Scheme ( offers financial assistance to enable companies to either carry out their own export marketing research or a contribution to the costs of hiring an agency or to purchase desk research into a chosen market.

* Overseas Market Introduction Service ( puts companies in touch with staff in UK Trade & Investment's overseas offices to offer market information and advice as well as practical help for a market visit.

* Export Market Research Assistance ( offers companies financial assistance to visit their chosen market to research business opportunities and improve exporting skills and awareness of international competition.

* Virtual Export Manager ( matches companies with an experienced export manager to work alongside staff, offering up to 30 days hands-on, support over six months. The cost of pounds 250 a day is subsidised by 50% through UK Trade & Investment. …
