As one of the North-East's premier third party storage, logistics and distribution companies, LWL has an enviable reputation for working in partnership with its clients to develop cost-effective and workable solutions.

The company covers the full range of archiving and general storage, distribution and logistics services for its industrial, commercial and fast moving consumer goods customers.

LWL has offered a warehousing operation at Lingfield Point, Darlington, for over 25 years, initially storing white goods on behalf of Thorn Domestic Appliances, which was subsequently taken over by Electrolux.

"LWL run a very efficient operation and we wanted a new name that reflected to the outside world how dynamic and forward-thinking the company is. We feel LWL helps to do this."

LWL has recently increased its core ambient storage resource from 200,000sq ft to 650,000sq ft by taking over the ex-BAT facility at Lingfield Point.

Here, the company is currently storing for existing customers like Capita, Tetley, Hydro, Snugtops. It offers a variety of storage solutions and handling techniques in an effort to ensure all customers feel safe in the knowledge that goods are well cared for in a safe and secure warehousing environment.

LWL has a varied number of high-profile clients. …
