A leading financial services organisation has been enjoying huge success in the North East thanks to help from the Chronicle.

GE Money moved to North Shields two years ago and has managed to recruit 450 staff following a host of adverts in the Chronicle's jobsnortheast.

And things are about to get even bigger and better.

Due to the success of its existing site, which houses the 450 staff, GE Money is investing in a new site, which is being built over the next year. And the company has launched a recruitment campaign to find a further 400 workers.

Resourcing manager Bev Chapman said: "It's the people at GE Money who make it such a success. We have received such a warm welcome in the North East. It's a really exciting time for the company and a fantastic time to join us."

Even before the new site is ready next summer, GE is looking to recruit people of all ages and from all walks of life to join the existing contact centre team. …
