CAPTAIN John Terry and keeper Paul Robinson will take centre stage in inspiring their team-mates just before they step out on to the Tel Aviv pitch.

All of the detailed work, the set plays, the formation, the videos of the opposition, will have been done in the days leading up to the big game, but there is room for a last input from the players.

England coach Steve McClaren (right) said: "JT will know what to do in the dressing room. The work has been done before but all the players play a part.

"Everybody's individual. I would think it will be fairly low key until just before we go out. You get all different personalities in a team, but the likes of JT and Paul Robinson are more vocal while others like to be quiet."

Meanwhile, Bolton boss Sam Allardyce has tipped Tal Ben Haim, 24, to be a thorn in England's side. He said: "Tal will certainly make sure it is very difficult for them in Israel.

"He is a very good player - one of the top defenders in the Premiership. …
