Blyth Spartans boss Harry Dunn is looking for his side to cement their play-off credentials over the Easter period, (writes Jeff Bowron).

The Spartans host bottom-eight side Stalybridge Celtic tomorrow and then travel to Yorkshire on Easter Monday to face mid-table Farsley Celtic.

Stalybridge, who have failed to win their last five away games, are currently seventh-bottom and just five points above the relegation zone.

The Thameside club expect to have veteran former Gateshead, Barrow and Bishop Auckland keeper Simon Bishop between the posts at Croft Park.

Stalybridge had to settle for a 2-2 draw at home to one of Blyth's play-off rivals, Hinckley United, in midweek despite being two up after half-an-hour.

Blyth boss Dunn said: "The Easter period is always important and we need to pick up at least one win over the next three days.

"We've proved hard to beat and can still make the top five but Stalybridge need points for a different reasons and it will be another tough game. …
