Never before have so many of you been featured in the Evening Gazette.

Every Saturday we bring you Gazette People incorporating Grassroots.

This full colour 20-page supplement features everything that's great about the Tees Valley, and that is the people who live here. Each week you will find a huge selection of family celebrations, from new babies to 100th birthdays.

Since its launch Gazette People has acquired an army of loyal fans.

Those familiar with Gazette People will already know what it offers.

Those yet to discover this fantastic photographic feast of faces have been missing out. It's jam-packed with people from across the Tees Valley.

We've dubbed it the Tees Valley Family Album, and we've lost count of how many thousands of you have sent in your pictures.

We've had fabulous fancy dress parties, glittering golden wedding anniversaries, wonderful weddings in romantic settings, rip-roaring hen nights, and red carpet prom nights.

Then there's all the charity cheque presentations, fun-filled fundraising events, and nights out on the town.

And, each week photographer Angie Weall visits a different school or nursery in order to give readers an insight into the kind of things our youngsters get up to in the classroom.

Angie's visits have produced some stunning school pictures, which have been snapped up by proud parents.

Gazette People also boasts a pets column, where, among hundreds of other animals, we've featured a hairless cat, some bubble-loving dogs, and a horse with a dazzling set of pearly whites.

There's also Your Memories, where readers can take a wander down memory lane, and an obituary column where you can tell us, in your words, about family or friends who have died recently.

And that's just the first 10 pages.

Once you've reached the centre pages prepare for an energetic tour of the local sports scene.

The Grassroots pages are full to the rafters of all kinds of activities. …
