TURKISH football star Tuncay Sanli will have no problems getting a home-cooked meal when he signs for Boro.

Fellow countryman and Redcar chef Muzaffer Adiguzel and his staff at La Villa restaurant have welcomed the striker to join them if he ever fancies company from his homeland.

Muzaffer, 37, moved to Teesside 16 years ago after meeting and marrying his wife Linda. They have three children Yasmin, 13, Melissa, 11, and Zafer, seven, and have all taken to supporting the Boro.

Part time workers Mustafa Isiq and Mewram Aytas, both 28, both arrived from Istanbul in the last couple of years where they supported Tuncay's team Fenerbahce. Since moving to Redcar they have also got the Boro bug.

The whole gang are now excited at the thought of him playing on Teesside and are willing to roll out the red carpet for the man they dub "The Turkish Wayne Rooney".

Muzaffer, who opened the Mediterranean restaurant La Villa on Station Road, Redcar with Linda six years ago, said: "We are really excited about him coming to play for Boro. …
