BRINGING a bit of unashamed pop to the dance floor tonight is French superstar DJ DAVID GUETTA.

He's at The Empire in Middlesbrough, taking over at about 10.30pm after new rave/dance punk band HADOUKEN finish their set.

David Guetta is celebrating the success of his album Pop Life, along with the return of the legendary F*ck Me I'm Famous parties in Ibiza and bookings all over Europe and the US.

In France, the multi-million selling producer, recording artist and promoter, has long been a household name.

In the early 1990s he had French crowds eating out of his handwith an eclectic party set of house, hip-hop and garage.

He says: "For me, it is all about sharing my passion.

That is why I am a DJ. A lot of producers don't think it's cool to play for people. But even in the studio I love to play for my friends. When I DJ, I play for the party."

Hitting Ibiza when other French dance scene exports such as Daft Punk and Cassius were getting known, his parties became a huge crowd puller. …
