Following is a compilation of reports from Beaches-area police departments:

JACKSONVILLE BEACH

- Six Jacksonville Barracudas hockey players were arrested Sunday in the 400 BLOCK OF FOURTH AVENUE SOUTH on battery charges after police said they attacked people in a house after talking about a neighborhood party.

Police said a group of men, whose ages range from 22 to 28, went to the house on Fourth Avenue South about 3 a.m., looking for a party. The people at the home told the men that the party had been at a neighbor's house, but was broken up by the police several hours beforehand.

The victims said that when they told the men about the party, the men, who were drunk, began yelling at them. The men then started throwing trash at the victims.

Two of the victims approached the men to get them to stop throwing trash and then the men punched and kicked them.

Police stopped a car in which the men had fled and arrested them.

Arrested were Robert Colangelo, 24; Timothy Haun, 27; Ryan MacGregor, 25; Bret Norris, 25; Ryan Person, 28; and Christopher Reberni, 22.

- A man reported Wednesday that a construction site in the 3000 BLOCK OF FIRST STREET SOUTH was burglarized. About $1,500 in copper wiring was damaged.

- A 20-year-old Jacksonville Beach man reported Saturday that he was attacked in his home in the 800 BLOCK OF 18TH STREET NORTH by a man with a gun.

The man said that he was sleeping about 4 a.m. when he heard his home alarm go off and went to investigate.

A man had broken in and was asking where the victim's roommate was. The victim told him and the man went to the room and began yelling at the roommate.

The victim told the man to leave and the man hit him. They fought on the ground and the man pulled out a gun and put it against the victim's head. The victim struggled for the gun and it went off, shooting a bullet into the ceiling. The man with the gun then hit the victim on the side of the head with the weapon.

- A 15-year-old student reported Nov. 8 that he was attacked by another student at the Broach School in the FIRST BLOCK OF 12TH STREET SOUTH. …
