BY BOY George's own admission, he's the Amy Winehouse of his day. The colourful chart-topper believes there are striking similarities between him and Amy - and not just the troubles both have gone through.

"She sings great songs and there's such depth of emotion in her voice," says George, 47.

"The past few years has been bitchy, poptastic rubbish and it's all designed for radio.

"No-one's really been feeling. For me, I'm all about that, emotion.

"I'm going to try and do everything that I'm proud of in the show. There will be everything from different periods and there will be a lot of hits in there as well.

"The thing with me is I've got a very loyal fan base and I've got these websites that are run by fans, so I always get a sense of what they want to hear.

"Sometimes the requests are ridiculous, some B-sides from 20 years ago.

"Generally, I know what the audience want though. We've gone through everything - every single song and CD, even songs that haven't been released. It's going to be a good show.

"There will be new songs and Culture Club songs. …
