If the genie of angling appeared before you and said he'd grant you 100 wishes, and all of them would be features on your new offshore boat, imagine what you'd have.

Because that's not likely to happen, it might be easier to visit the Jacksonville Boat Show today and walk aboard the Everglades 350cc.

It's possible that the boat won't have 100 of your dream features on it. It might have more.

Forget for a moment the ride of the Everglades boats. Push aside the company's reputation for quality construction and design innovation.

Just look at the perks.

The cockpit is open enough to hold a small square dance. Bottom-fish with a bunch of your buddies. But if you're trolling and the blue marlin swallows the lure, flip down the foldaway fighting chair hidden in the center console. Two more upholstered jump seats fold down from the transom, a really nice touch for the long ride to the Gulf Stream. There's also room for three on a bench seat in the bow area.

An electric cocktail table rises from the center of the bow when needed. All the way forward, there's an anchor locker with a stainless-steel windlass and a freshwater wash-down hose.

Six tackle storage lockers flank the fighting chair. A see-through live well crowns the console.

The top is acrylic and includes an integral magnet to hold it in the open position and a gasket on the bottom to seal the tank from overflow or sloshing. There's a built-in cutting board with holders for pliers and knives on the port side of the well. A sink with freshwater and saltwater sits on the starboard side of the console.

There's another live well on the transom. You can find it next to the bait freezer in the transom. There's a refrigerator box flanking that. A storage/icebox is next to that.
