BLYTH SPARTANS will look for revenge in Cumbria tomorrow as they continue their climb up the Blue Square North table.

The Spartans travel on the back of a six-match unbeaten run, but their 3-2 defeat at home to Barrow still rankles.

Goals from strike pair Robbie Dale and Phil Bell should have been enough to give Blyth a 2-1 win, only for Barrow to score twice in the dying minutes.

It was a classic smash-and-grab raid and harsh on Blyth who pressed the self-destruct button with some woeful defending.

The Spartans have been much more solid of late conceding just seven goals in their last six outings, but manager Harry Dunn expects another tough test against the Bluebirds.

Dunn said: "Losing to Barrow at Croft Park was very hard to take as we should have had the game won and then threw it away.

"We beat ourselves that night. Barrow is a difficult place to go and they're going quite well, but we haven't been doing so bad ourselves.

"Confidence has risen on the back of some good results, but we're not out of the woods yet. …
