Three of the Best Team Up; Garages Offer Free Motoring to Customers

THE three leading North East Citroen dealers have joined forces to offer three of their new customers free motoring for a year.

In what is believed to be a first for the region, the rival dealers have become allies for a promotion involving the area's top three Citroen garage groups.

Anyone who buys a new Citroen from Wingrove West Road, Newcastle, Springfield, at Durham Road, Gateshead, or Town Centre Citroen, at Wessington Way, Sunderland, before the end of March will be eligible to enter a treasure draw.

There will be a few simple questions relating to the dealerships on a printed form that will then be placed in a box. The winner will be drawn at the end of the month.

The winning entrants will receive every motorist's dream of free motoring for a year, based on a generous average of 12,000 miles, which is worth about pounds 1,250. The dealerships say they are particularly keen to cater for an upsurge in demand for the C1, C2, C3 and C4 Picasso ranges.

The French firm has just introduced a trio of special editions for some of its smallest and most fuel-efficient models.

The C1 and C3 Pluriel models get the same treatment as the C2, whose extra equipment earned it a set of Code badges.

In the case of the new C1 Code there is leather upholstery and chrome interior trim, distinctive alloy wheels and black metallic paint.

The car is based on the top-of-therange one-litre Rhythm model in three and five-door forms, which already boasts a CD sound system, remote central locking, electric windows and four airbags.

The C3 Pluriel model, which has an electric folding roof, gets pearlescent black paint, striking 15-inch alloy wheels and a plush leather interior on top of the standard equipment of the 1.4i Exclusive model.

Citroen says it has introduced these Code versions of the C1 and C3 Pluriel in response to the success of the C2 Code, which is now one of the best-selling models in the range.
