Elite runner Ryan Shay, a former Gate River Run champion, died of an irregular heartbeat because of an enlarged heart after collapsing during the U.S. men's marathon Olympic trials, the New York City medical examiner said. The 28-year-old Shay collapsed in Central Park on Nov. 3, about 5 1/2 miles into the race, and was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Shay won the Gate River Run in 2005.

PRYOR TO DECIDE TODAY

Terrelle Pryor is ready to make a choice.

At a news conference today, the highly touted high school quarterback from Pennsylvania will announce where he will attend college. The Philadelphia Inquirer reported Pryor has narrowed his choices to Ohio State and Michigan, with Penn State out of the running.
