Article excerpt

WE are trying to contact any readers who may have attended the former Brownrigg Camp School in Bellingham, Northumberland. From 1945, thousands of boys and girls from all over Tyneside and Northumberland enjoyed the friendship and excitement of this unique school set high on the Northumberland fells.

We are holding a reunion for all former pupils over the weekend of 14th/15th June during which there will be the opportunity to visit the old school and the village of Bellingham, take a tour round the area on a former London Transport double

decker bus and join us for a barbeque and dance.

We have former pupils coming from as far afield as Australia, New

Zealand, Canada, and USA but would love to hear from lots more. Please contact the writer at the numbers above for more information.
