Cricket: Riverside One-Day Clash Just the Ticket

TICKETS for England's Nat West Series one-day international against New Zealand at the Riverside on June 15 have sold out.

More than 15,000 fans have purchased all seats for England's first visit to the North East this summer.

Tickets are still available for the first International Twenty20 match to be held at Chester-le-Street, when England face South Africa on August 20.

Durham chief executive David Harker said: "It has been great to see the level of support the region's sports fans have given to England's visits this summer.

"The one-day match is the first opportunity for our fans to support Paul Collingwood at his home ground in his role as one-day captain and to do this in front of a sell-out crowd will be special.

"There are still tickets left for the NatWest International Twenty20 match, and with Twenty20 cricket becoming such a force in world cricket we are expecting the remaining tickets to be snapped up pretty quickly.

"South Africa are joint top in the one-day rankings and we are expecting this match to be explosive. …
