Supervisor Elected at Community Development District Meeting

The Julington Creek Plantation Community Development District board elected Del Dosch as its newest supervisor at the group's monthly meeting on June 10. Dosch replaces Al Abbatiello who resigned his position on the board to run for the District 1 seat on the St. Johns County Commission.

Dosch was one of five candidates for the open seat who spoke to the board and the public at the meeting. At the time of his election, Dosch was also serving as treasurer for the Julington Creek Plantation Property Owner's Association. He resigned that position on June 12, but says he plans to remain active as a volunteer.

Dosch says it has been his goal to become a Development District supervisor for the past four or five years. "I have always admired the CDD operation," Dosch said adding, "I hope to contribute to guiding the CDD based on my values and past experience."

The district's meeting also provided board members the opportunity to examine the budget for the 2009 fiscal year. …
