Byline: ALLAN BULMER

I AM trying to make contact with Norman Denvill MacInnes who was born in 1937, possibly at 103 John Street, Blaydon. His parents were Malcolm and Elizabeth MacInnes who married at South Shields Register Office on October 11, 1933.

His mother's maiden name was Bates (father Thomas, a widower aged 48 in 1937, was living in Newburn). Elizabeth's mother had died in childbirth and she had been brought up by her great aunt Mrs Bertha Evans at High Spen.

Malcolm was born in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis and in 1937, grandfather Donald MacInnes was living at 24 Achmore, Stornoway.

It is possible that Norman D MacInnes may have had a brother.
