With construction at Creekside High School nearly completed, all that remains are the finishing touches. The landscaping is in place, classrooms are full of desks and chairs and even the bells indicating class changes ring through the halls.

The administrative staff moved into their new offices about three weeks ago, and Principal Paul Abbatinozzi says it's starting to feel like home. He said the school has received all its textbooks and classroom equipment, from pottery clay for art classes to working track lighting in the auditorium.

"We're in a really good spot right now," said Abbatinozzi, adding, "We're not worried about anything, we're excited to get students into the building." He also said that contractors were on sight working on final "punch-list" items including final coats of paints and buffing hallway floors.

All school staff members are in place, with the exception of two vacancies, a part-time civil engineering position and a varsity tennis coach. …
