Woman at Fish Camp Is Homicide Victim

Jacksonville police on Friday identified Macclenny resident Trudy Taylor Sarman as the woman whose body was found the day before by construction workers at a Heckscher Drive fish camp.

Sarman, of the 5000 block of Farm Lane, was the victim of homicide, police said. They released no further information.

Baker County Sheriff Joey Dobson said he spoke with Jacksonville police Friday. Dobson said his department did not have a missing persons report for Sarman.

Her body had been found shortly before 3 p.m. Thursday near the tree line of the parking lot at the Palms Fish Camp, 6359 Heckscher Drive.
