The Creekside Knights Athletics Booster Club is looking for donations of a few items. The opening of a new high school brings many challenges. As the first day of school rapidly approaches, the club realizes that a few items have not been factored into the construction budget. Although a charitable donation is preferable the club is not opposed to getting a really good deal. Requested items:

Icemaker for the concession stand, electric golf cart, ball field finisher, Sitrex fertilizer, 50-gallon sprayer, Bush Hog.

July 28-29, and Aug. 11-12 a two-day orientation program that prepares the new middle school girl for the middle school experience, positively changing nervousness to self-confidence. Your daughter does not have to be a Girl Scout to attend, but does have to be enrolled as a student for Fruit Cove Middle School for the 2008-09 school year. Cost is $35. Upward Flag Football and Cheerleading is accepting registrations for the fall league. This is a co-ed league for children in grades 1-6; kindergartners can cheer. All practices and games will be held at Fruit Cove Baptist Church, 501 Florida 13. The season lasts for eight weeks. Each team or squad practices for one hour each week, and participates in a one-hour game each Saturday. …
