JAP Parts UK went back to the top of Division A with an emphatic win over close rivals McKenna.

Visitors McKenna started well but then collapsed as A Hussain (4-9) and T Mehmood (3-7) sent them back for 85. N Khan (31) steadied the reply as the home side reached 86-5.

Balti Hut won their first league game of the season when they beat Boro Cars by 12 runs. Balti Hut struggled to cope with Mohsin (4-8) and had to settle for 84-7.

Then S Hussain (4-27) had Boro Cars in trouble as they struggled to 72 all out.

In the other A Division game MSV Sport struggled to 119-7 with a few lusty blows from T MumPaz (31no) making the total look respectable.

In reply, Blue Line Taxis openers S Rashid (55no) and S Pennock (36) made short work of reaching 122-1 to win.

Division B is getting very tight and, with three games referred to the management committee, any of five teams are still in with a chance.

C Fawcett (88) and S Ashman (68) set up Pot and Glass's total of 191-7 at home to Hutton Rudby. J Honeyman impressed with 6-29.

Tight bowling from I Peacock (3-9) and W Wilkinson (4-32) then restricted the visitors to 129-9 in reply.

Azaad restricted University of Teesside to 93-5 with G Crawley (34no) top scoring. Azaad eased home despite G Burton's haul of 4-26.

Yarm made 157-9 when they visited Stafford Place thanks to B Mushtafa (82).

S Teta 4-36 was the pick of the bowlers.

J Stainsby (4-38) took out the top three men in the reply but despite 34 from Teta Stafford were bowled out for 68.

Boro Jewellers and Stockton Specsavers are almost home and dry at the top of Division C.

Boro Jewellers restricted Hemlington to 103-6 despite M. Taylor's 41. S. Khan (31) and A Aziz (44no) made short work of the reply with Jewellers winning by eight wickets.

MS Khizar (36) and MW Hanif (42) set up Specsavers' 147-9 when at Stockton for whom T Coulthard snapped up 4-46.

In reply, C Parr (66) gave Stockton a good start but they then collapsed to 127-6. …
