A Jacksonville fire-rescue truck taking a patient to the hospital ran off Interstate 10 and overturned about 1:45 p.m. Friday, the Florida Highway Patrol reported. No one was severely injured, the report said.

The Rescue 57 driver, Paul Brennan, was cited with careless driving, according to the report.

It was raining when Rescue 57 hit a concrete median a half-mile east of Lane Avenue, then drove across the eastbound lanes, left the road and rolled over on the highway's shoulder, according to investigators. No other vehicles were involved.

Brennan, 38, and crew members William Held, 44, and Eric Butler, 39, were taken to Shands Jacksonville with minor injuries, the report said. Patient Richard Ellis, 22, of Jacksonville, was also taken to Shands.
