DURHAM face an under-strength Nottinghamshire side at Trent Bridge this evening in the NatWest Pro-40 day-nighter.

But even though the home side are without Stuart Broad, Ryan Sidebottom, Graeme Swann and Samit Patel because of England call-ups and injury, Durham might have their work cut out if they are to return to winning ways in the limited over game.

Dynamos, who are without Paul Collingwood, will come up against strength in depth in the Notts bowling attack.

Darren Pattinson, Mark Ealham, Charlie Shreck and Andre Adams have all taken wickets when their better- known teammates have been absent.

While Durham have suffered back-to-back defeats in the competition, Notts have won three of their last four games to top the table.

South African Ashwell Prince will make his Notts debut this evening, and the 31-year-old all-rounder said: "Most of my domestic cricket in South Africa is played under lights, so I wont need to adjust.

"Professionals play cricket to win trophies and I hope that I can help the team to win some silverware. …
