WORK FOR WILDLIFE

NATURE lovers are being asked to help Northumberland Wildlife Trust maintain some of its beauty spots.

The Trust will be holding volunteer task days on Sunday, November 16, and Sunday, November 30, where people can help maintain some of its nature reserves.

To book a place, call (0191) 284 6884. Volunteers must be registered, to do so contact Derek Hornsby at the Trust.

FIRST-HAND FARMING

BUDDING farmers can learn all about life down on the farm. A Farm Club will be held on Saturday, November 15, at Bill Quay Farm in Gateshead.
