TOTTENHAM'S revival under Harry Redknapp continued as Darren Bent scored a hat-trick in their 4-0 UEFA Cup dismantling of Dinamo Zagreb. Bent took his tally for the season to nine - more than the combined total of summer departures Dimitar Berbatov and Robbie Keane - in the Group D game, with Tom Huddlestone grabbing Spurs' other goal.

FORMER Boro boss Steve McClaren hailed Robinho after the Brazilian scored his seventh goal of the season in Manchester City's 3-2 UEFA Cup win over his FC Twente side. Robinho's effort helped seal a nail-biting City victory and McClaren said: "With Robinho and Jo you're always going to get some magic."

BORO'S next opponents, Aston Villa, took a big step towards qualification from UEFA Cup Group F with a 1-0 win at Slavia Prague.
