NO CRASHING WEDDING CRASHERS PARTY

Imagine, if you will, the perfect wedding: tons of great food and drinks, great music and dancing and absolutely no obligation to buy a gift or pay attention during the best man's awkward toast. The Jacksonville Historical Society's third annual Wedding Crashers Party is a mock wedding and reception with all the good parts of the wedding and none of the bad. 7-11 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12, at Old St. Andrew's, 317 A. ROCKING AND RIDING - FOR KIDS

If you see motorcycles - lots and lots of motorcycles - on the road Saturday, don't panic. Bikers are raising money for daniel, a local organization that helps support children in need. The annual Rock n Ride for daniel kids is expected to put more than 1,000 riders on the road in Duval and St. Johns counties. Riders will leave the Morocco Shrine Auditorium in Jacksonville and First Coast Honda in St. Augustine Saturday morning. Both groups will arrive back at Morocco Shrine around noon for a post-ride party, featuring music by Big Al & the Kaholics. To register, go to www.danielkids.org.

A CONCERT FOR PEACE

On Thursday, the Jacksonville Sister Cities Association will host a Concert for Peace, with performances by the UNF Chamber Singers, the Douglas Anderson School of the Arts Chorale, the Jacksonville Children's Chorus and more. The event will include a speech by city councilman Stephen Joost and will commemorate both the seventh anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks and the 51st anniversary of the sister city movement. 7:30 p.m. Thursday, St. John's Cathedral, 256 E.
