IF you have bucked the trend and been a prudent saver then now is your moment.

While everyone appears not to have any cash, the big luxury cars are there for you to pick up at a bargain price.

In particular a two-year-old Chrysler 300C is a surprisingly good car, with distinctive looks at an unbelievable price. The massive petrol engines are thirsty though, which explains the low average mileages.

So perhaps you will like one of my other two picks - after all it's a buyers' market so you can be fussy.

Chrysler 300C

Charismatic and really rather cool, makes a change from a Mercedes or BMW, long term though values are likely to be weaker by comparison. Diesel strongest buy as is Tourer estate. So one to purchase in the future rather than right now.

Jaguar XJ

Of the three, this is the one really 'proper' limo. It looks elegant, but because it looks too much like a 30-year old Jag, it is not as sought after as it should be. …
