Hit after Hit Leaves Us Feeling Good

THE FEELING CARLING ACADEMY I didn't realise it was an embarrassing thing to like pop rockers The Feeling, but apparently among some of my friends it is. All I can say is on evidence of last night's gig, the last of their UK tour dates, it's my mates who are missing out.

The Feeling opened their act from behind a white tarpaulin with Thought It Was Over.

Needless to say the crowd went wild as the tarp dropped and the guys bounced around the stage belting out their lively sound to the waiting crowd.

They went on to run through hits such as Fill My Little World and Never Be Lonely as they raced through several of their hits from both albums Twelve Stops From Home and Join With Us.

Midway through they gave us new tune The Truth Comes Out As The Drink Goes In, which I, for one, thought was a hit in the making.

The lads then covered AHA's Take On Me, which they performed at Glastonbury and, apparently, has become a favourite of theirs ever since. …
