DUE to a combination of NFA Sunday Minor Cup games being scheduled and the harsh weather conditions, only two matches were completed.

In the Derek Raffle Challenge Cup, favourites Bedlington Station SC progressed to the semi-finals after a 5-0 rout of Seaton Delaval Procter and Gamble.

After only one defeat in their 11 league fixtures to date, the Station are on course for a double in their first season in the league.

They will look forward to a semi-final against either Newsham Victory SC or Seaton Burn New Drift Inn after their tie fell victim to the weather.

The other games involving Cramlington Phoenix and The Hind and New Hartley Community and The Charnwood Longbenton were also postponed to a date to be confirmed later.

The only league match to take place was in the First Division, where Dinnington Village ran out 7-4 victors over struggling Jesmond Lonsdale.

The Villagers had both Chris Fee and Andy Hully on hat-tricks, with Mark Thompson also netting. …
