WILKINSON ELEMENTARY

The following Wilkinson Elementary fifth- and sixth-grade students earned A honor roll for the first quarter:

Fifth grade: Shalyn Adkins, Laine Allen, Courtney Bach, Dale Bauder, Ashley Brumbley, Caleb Cothran, Sabrina Coward, Faith Cowell, Brett Elliott, Stefani Hammond, Jordan Holstine, Ashley Johns, Radhika Khara, Christopher Monk, Selena Pena, Lindsey Price, Alyssa Rosenbaum, Paulo Santos, Michael Singer, Zath Smith, Jacob Taylor, Chris Tomlinson, Kaylee Wilkerson and Makayla Wise.

Sixth grade: Kayla Cercy, Katelynn Childress, Autumn Cornett, Nathan Cross, Allison Fulford, Stephen Howington, Carson Joyce, Lilly Manger, Sabrina Montgomery, Hunter Norman, Madhadvendra Popoff, Rachel Rundio and Devin Weyland.

ORANGE PARK HIGH

Orange Park High is seeking community and business support for Raider Rewards, a student incentive program. Students who earn a passing score on their first Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test, have no discipline referrals and have strong attendance and grades by the end of their junior year will receive a Platinum Card. The picture ID card entitles the students, as seniors, to on-campus privileges such as preferred lockers, parking and discounts to school events. If they falter in citizenship, grades or FCAT scores, they lose the card permanently. The school is seeking businesses to give cardholders discounts or other incentives; the names of business participants will be posted on a Platinum Sponsors wall at the school, on the school's Web site and in the community newsletter.

FLEMING ISLAND HIGH

The Fleming Island High School Navy JROTC is hosting the fifth annual food drive to benefit the Food Pantry in Green Cove Springs. All schools and their clubs, teams and associations, as well as businesses and fraternal organizations, are encouraged to join. The groups that collect the most goods will receive trophies.
