THE Warriors produced a workmanlike performance to see off the challenge of Kingston Jets at Hillheads last night to claim two valuable English National League points.

Nathan Taylor set the home side on their way with a 13th minute goal quickly followed by a strike from DJ Good.

However, the visitors kept themselves in the game when Ben Lowe scored in the last minute of the opening session.

Phil Atherton made it 3-1 and the Warriors extended their advantage in the 33rd minute when Mark Good scored from distance.

Kingston netted late in the period through Ben Spurgeon, but the Warriors quickly replied as Shaun Kippin tipped home from close range while the home side had their only powerplay advantage of the evening. The only goal of the final session came from Daniel Murdy
