Spencer on Quest to Land Title Crown; Jockey Favourite for Prize

Article excerpt

JAMIE SPENCER is hot favourite to bag the all-weather jockeys' title this winter and can continue his quest for the crown with yet another winner at Lingfield.

Takitwo can get up close to home to deny Bollywood Style by a head over Kempton's seven furlongs earlier this month. Peter Cundell's six-year-old can repeat the trick over the course and distance in the Handicap.

Player may be one of the lesser lights of the Graham Wylie and Howard Johnson team, but the French import is starting to pay his way thanks to a win at Catterick a month ago - and he can go in again at Newcastle. …
