AMONG the cases dealt with at Teesside Magistrates Court on January 6 were:

Michael Glen McNicholas, 29, of Fairfax Road, Middleton St George, County Durham, jailed for eight weeks for theft.

Scott Mizsei, 21, of Derwent Street, Stockton, banned from driving for 12 months and given an absolute discharge for having no insurance, driving without an appropriate licence, failing to wear protective headgear on a motorcycle, driving without a fixed registration plate, failing to give a name or address and driving on a footpath.

Theresa Helen Cook, 30, of Shaftesbury Street, Stockton, jailed for 42 weeks for theft, breach of an Anti-social Behaviour Order and breaching a suspended sentence.

Richard Morrison, 34, of New Road, Billingham, banned from driving for 16 months and fined pounds 425 with pounds 102 costs for drink driving, having no insurance and failing to surrender to custody.

John Wallace, 37, of Deepdale Way, Darlington, banned from driving for six months and fined pounds 100 with pounds 15 costs for having no insurance and driving without an appropriate licence. …
