THREE Tables teams are in the top four positions of the Middlesbrough and District League Premier Division.

Tables are top following a brilliant 13-1 win over a very strong Spitfire team. Tables 8s are second, three points behind, after recording a 11-3 win over the Park End W, and Tables B are fourth after a 7-7 draw with Riley's.

Reigning champions Red Lion notched a crushing 13-1 win at home to the Erimus.

Whale Hill and Albion Club drew 7-7 and Riley's Potters defeated the Pied Piper 11-7.

Captain Cook are surprise early leaders of the first division having won their first four matches. Their latest win was 12-2 defeat of Dubliners.

Smithy are joint leaders after a 10-4 win over Red Lion B. The Park defeated Buccaneer 8-6 and Park End drew 7-7 with Cleveland.

MCC are top of the second division, winning four of their first five matches, but losing their latest match 9-5 to Hardwick Hotel.

North Ormesby Workies are second, defeating the Endeavour 8-6. …
