FIVE TEAMS TO WATCH

Bolles: The Bulldogs lost two standouts in Chris Reiman and Creighton Blanchard. However, Matt Dias and Beau Treyz are both back, as well as Spencer Lunghino, who did not play last year.

Episcopal: The Eagles bring back their top two players in Marcus Van Berkel and Danny Knight. After finishing eighth in Class 1A last season, the Eagles should be primed for a higher finish.

Fletcher: Led by Jun Condez, the Senators bring back 13 of their 15 players from last season. Another Gateway Conference title and a berth in regionals seem like realistic goals for the team.

Nease: Despite heavy losses, Nease remains a talented team, led by Josh Kessler and Will Cheshire. Another runner-up finish in 3A seems unlikely, but the Panthers should be solid.
