Camerons Bury 'Wonderfully Special' Ivan

DAVID and Samantha Cameron this afternoon buried their "wonderfully special" son Ivan after a private funeral service in Oxfordshire.

A gospel choir sang You Are So Beautiful during the hour-long service at the Church of St Nicholas in Chadlington, in the Tory leader's constituency.

The Camerons had asked for mourners not to wear black at the small gathering attended by family, friends and Ivan's carers, as well as medical staff -- some from StMary's Hospital in Paddington -- who had looked after the six-yearold.

The couple arrived at the church holding hands. Mrs Cameron wore a dark dress with blue polka dots, and red scarf. Close to tears, she held a small bunch of flowers. Mr Cameron wore a dark suit with a yellow tie.

The service was described as a mixture of the traditional and personal. The hymn Morning Has

Broken was sung and a poem read.

A section of Ivan's favourite book, Where The Wild Things Are, by Maurice Sendak, was also read. …
