THE 'vacancy' sign has just gone up for the Quest Apartments on Bramston Street, Glenlyon Road and Central Lane corner.

While other CBD developers were deciding whether to make a start on their projects, 12 months ago Quest decided to go ahead with its $8 million accommodation property situated on one of Gladstone's busiest intersections.

The four-and-a-half star serviced apartments are to open on schedule on February 2.

The property has 82 apartments in a mix of studio, one, two and three bedrooms with a variety of bed configurations.

Quest chairman Paul Constantinou said Quest Gladstone offered the business traveller "the ideal choice for their overnight or extended stay - be it for work or for leisure".

"This complex enables us to offer corporate and leisure travellers to the Gladstone region the very best in accommodation and facilities for peace of mind, with accent on comfort and convenience," he said.

Mr Constantinou said the property was in an ideal position for those travellers seeking access to the Gladstone Hospital, entertainment and aquatic centres, Central Queensland University and the multi-purpose sports complex. …
