BOWLS Super Challenge got under way last weekend in the Bundaberg area.

In the bronze division section two, Tantitha at home defeated Bargara in both the men's and ladies' with the men winning 4-1 and the ladies 2-0.

Moore Park travelled to Tin Can Bay and returned home with the men winning 3-2 and the ladies 2-0.

In section three, Burnett at home defeated Moore Park men 4-1 and the ladies won 2-0.

Next Saturday in section two, Bargara at home to Maryborough, Moore Park will play Pialba at home and Tantitha away to Urangan.

In section three, Moore Park is at home to Hervey Bay, and Burnett is away to Cooloola Coast.

AN umpire training course will begin February 22 at 9am at the Burnett Bowls Club for current umpires who are due for re-accreditation and any new application.
