11-year-old shoplifters

TWO 11-year-old girls were caught shoplifting at Grafton's Best and Less store last weekend. The pair were stopped by staff as they left the shop about 2pm Saturday. The girls were found to have in their possession unpurchased items of store clothing. The girls were not charged, but police escorted them home and told their parents.

Grafton car break-in

A SILVER Nissan Pulsar sedan was broken into on Oliver Street, Grafton, between 5.30pm Friday and 6.30am Saturday. Two CDs were stolen. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

Police seek rail vandals

POLICE are looking for a group of vandals seen running from the Grafton Railway Station on Sunday morning. The four people are believed to be responsible for painting graffi on a railway carriage saying 'Birds', 'Cronk' and 'Eze'. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Grafton Police Station on 6642 0222.
