Third Test

CRICKET: Pace spearhead Mitchell Johnson says Australia are looking upon the third Test against South Africa starting tomorrow as the end of a six-match series and the chance to claim a 4-2 victory.

Australia lost 2-1 on home soil in January but Ricky Ponting's men have held their No.1 ranking by bouncing back in South Africa to win in Johannesburg and Durban.

Judiciary duo

RUGBY LEAGUE: North Queensland's Manase Manuokafoa and Parramatta's Weller Hauraki will face the NRL judiciary tonight in the hope of escaping suspension.

The other eight players charged by the match review committee, including Canberra's Glen Turner, yesterday, accepted early guilty pleas.

They will not be suspended.

Funding plea

AFL: Port Adelaide yesterday confirmed they have asked the AFL for millions of dollars in emergency funding.
