Six Pythons under the One Roof

THE snake man from Wooli broke his record this week when he pulled six carpet pythons out of one roof.

"I'm sort of Wooli's snake handler," Phil Munns said.

So when a family renting the Old School House at Wooli thought there was a snake in the roof, Mr Munns was called in to investigate.

The snake man spotted a carpet snake in the ceiling so he moved into action and pulled it out.

But once he had hold of the snake Mr Munns realised it was different to the one he had first seen.

So he pulled the second one out, only to find another.

"Then, when I pulled that one out it had a different tail to the one I'd seen, so I'd found a fourth," he said.

In the end Mr Munns pulled six carpet snakes out of the roof over three days, with the last one measuring about 2. …
