CALLING all stray cats.

Yeppoon's Stephen Johns wants Geelong football supporters to band together in support of the Coast's newest club.

Staunch Geelong fans Stephen and wife Naomi are going all out to bring Cats fans together to honour the club in unison with the formation of the Capricorn Cats Supporters Group.

Stephen said they had decided to form the devout group after discovering recently at a grand final party many supporters had no like-minded people to celebrate with.

"With the 150th anniversary of Australian Football next year we thought now was the most appropriate time to bring Central Queensland Geelong supporters together," he said.

"We will be setting up a website, organising group trips south for games and having many game-day parties for supporters," he said.

"This group is not just about Geelong football fans, it is for anyone that has an interest in AFL and for those who would like to understand the game better. …
