Get Your Tickets Online to Beat Boxing Day Bedlam; New Movies Released Today Are Sure to Be Popular with Viewers

THERE will be no napping on the job for Rockhampton's cinema workers like Tim Goode today, with movie-goers expected to flock to the city's big screen for the release of three new films, including Adam Sandler's Bedtime Stories.

Birch Carroll and Coyle North Rockhampton marketing manager Clara Anderson said she expected today's Boxing Day showings to the be the busiest sessions of the year.

Other popular Boxing Day activities include a family barbeque by the river, a day at the beach or hitting the Yeppoon stores for their Boxing Day sales, watching the Test cricket from Melbourne and fishing.

Clara said today's screenings, which include new movies Bedtime Stories, The Day The Earth Stood Still and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, would be packed.

"I understand last year's Boxing Day wasn't the busiest day of the year, but I'm sure this year it will be," Clara said.

"Last year we had the movie marathons and that seemed to affect overall numbers. …
